Now that winter is finally over and we are all looking forward to the summer, now is the perfect time to think about having your Cold Water Booster sets and Pressurisation Units serviced.
PumpSmart Limited have fully trained and insured Service Engineers ready to carry out a comprehensive service package on your Booster Sets, Pressurisation Units and Variable Speed Control Panels.
Our engineer’s carry out a thorough service of the equipment to ensure that the system is operating with maximum efficiency. Please see below a summary of the services that we offer.
All too often we experience problems with units because the expansion vessel has lost the pre-charge or is incorrectly set. Our engineers isolate and fully drain all expansion vessels prior to checking the pre-charge and adjust using nitrogen gas as required.
The controls on Pressurisation Units and Booster Sets are essential in ensuring that the pumps are running and alternating correctly, and the units are functioning as intended. Our service engineers have the knowledge to interrogate and adjust the settings ensuring maximum efficiency is achieved. If the unit incorporates inverter drives or inverter driven pumps our engineers are able to check and adjust the parameters to ensure that the set is functioning to maximum efficiency.
Low level warning alarms are designed to protect the units from dry running, again, it is imperative that these alarms are working correctly and preventing the pumps from running when there is an interruption in water supply. The alarms are tested and reset on all units to ensure that full functionality is being achieved.
Our engineers pride themselves on their appearance and their conduct on site. On every occasion we ensure that the unit is cleaned as best as possible at the completion of the service and remove all waste from the plantroom.
We will provide you with a full report detailing all of the work conducted and provide a separate quotation for any remedial works required.
It is not always possible to provide a service plan and quotation without knowing the number of units or the number and size of the expansion vessels. Therefore, to enable us to offer an accurate service plan we provide a free of charge site survey allowing us to identify the exact number of units to be serviced and the estimated time to complete the works.
